Nightlife on Bonaire

Nightlife

There is a lively and informal "night-life" based on the restaurants and bars. Kralendijk has 51 restaurants, many of these are "tucked away", so there is no "tourist area". Each has a distinct character, and most have terraces for al fresco eating. There is a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, people enjoying their evening meal, taking a stroll along the ocean front promenade or enjoying a drink in one of the bars. There are no noisy clubs, pubs or discotheques. A night out in Kralendijk means socialising with other people who are also there to enjoy themselves It is a breath of fresh air to be able to relax and enjoy oneself in such a friendly atmosphere. There is a wide range of cuisine available, Indonesian, Chinese, Italian, French, Spanish and many Caribbean restaurants. Fish is on every menu and will always be fresh and usually something you have never heard of! There are
just a few bars in Kralendijk, relaxed and informal, and each with a distinct character. The resorts have their own bars and restaurants, and many will have theme nights barbecues, live music etc. No 'club' life but still a lot going on in the evenings.
On Bonaire we have a FOOD FOR FUN offer. This is an offer
of seven three-course dinners, including two drinks, at seven different restaurants. An easy, and reasonable, way to sample seven of the best restaurants on the island.
